I have made the final decision on what wikipedia stub to alter. I chose the topic of the Heater Shield (a type of shield used in medieval times.)
Update: finding relevant and meaningful information on this topic has been far more tedious than ever expected. Google proved next to useless, turning up only one site that wasn't trying to sell me something or talking about a stupid video game. So far, I have found one legit site. This site, however, doesn't say much more than the wikipedia stub I'm attempting to alter.

Accidental similarities? or PLAGARISM??

What is Plagiarism? I'm so glad you asked! Plagiarism a hard word to define without committing some form of plagiarism. There are millions of hits on Google.com for the word plagiarism, most of which offer the definition of plagiarism (and many of which are probably, themselves plagiarized). Therefore, one can easily infer that there are no more original definitions for plagiarism. There probably aren't. That being said, the definition of plagiarism is to steal and pass of the work of others as your own. (http://www.plagiarism.org/learning_center/what_is_plagiarism.html) One can only hope that the afore-displayed information is enough to dispel any accusations of plagiarism in this peice.
